There’s been a lot of talk recently about Facebook’s failure to capitalise on it’s heavy mobile device usage with advertising.
But what catches my eye about this infographic from OnlineMBA.com is the clickthrough rates – apparently mobile ads on Facebook are twice as good at generating clicks as ads viewed via the desktop version (at 1.14% compared to 0.56%).
If that’s the case then we should expect a lot more ad budgets moving into Facebook mobile in the near future – and this may well be worth a look particularly if you’re a local business.
